Jeremy (age 3) went out in a boat to fish with his Mom and Dad. Upon their arrival at the fishing spot, his Dad put a minnow on his hook, put it in water, and then handed him the little rod and reel. Unfortunately, Jeremy didn't see his Dad put the minnow on the hook, so when he reeled it in a short time later he thought he had caught a fish. In fact, he was so excited and delighted with his catch that he insisted his Dad quickly take it off the hook so that he could catch another one. Nothing they said would convince the little guy that he hadn't really caught that fish, and he continued to be very insistent about it. He was quite disturbed when his Dad put the line back in the water, but there was simply no way to make Jeremy believe that he didn't really catch that little fish.
